About
Welcome to Tasca Celso y Manolo, a charming gem nestled in the heart of Madrid at C. de la Libertad, 1, 28004. This delightful Spanish restaurant offers a refreshing twist on the traditional tapas scene, making it a must-visit for both locals and adventurous food lovers seeking a unique dining experience.
Unlike many tapas establishments that lean heavily on deep-fried and heavily salted offerings, Tasca Celso y Manolo embraces a more modern approach. Diners rave about the light seasoning and inventive dishes that set it apart. As 'misotam' highlights, the experience here is all about discovering something different, showcasing a culinary creativity that speaks to the heart of Spain’s vibrant dining culture.
On my visit, I was welcomed into a cozy atmosphere where friendliness reigns supreme. Servers, while perhaps limited in English, are enthusiastic and eager to guide patrons through the menu, ensuring that everyone feels at home. The allure of the restaurant lies not only in its ambiance but also in the luscious flavors that captivate the palate.
Food enthusiasts will find endless delights on the menu, as noted by customers like 'Leesa Harris,' who enthusiastically described each dish as incredible. From the classic tomato steak and aromatic paella to the perfectly grilled monkfish and tuna, every bite is a celebration of fresh ingredients and skillful preparation. Desserts like the cheesecake and flan provide a sweet finishing touch, rounding out an impressive culinary journey, even if they don’t overshadow the star dishes.
For those who yearn for a more authentic dining experience, away from the tourist traps, Tasca Celso y Manolo is a sanctuary. As 'Siegfried Huijgen' points out, the local feel and the exceptional four tomatoes mix with bread are not to be missed. Each dish invites you to savor the essence of Spain while being embraced by a warm, inviting ambiance.
The rave reviews don’t stop there. From the delectable bacalao tortilla to the flavorful rape bermeo, Tasca Celso y Manolo continuously impresses with quality and taste. Regulars like 'Markus Sakko' return time and again, reaffirming the restaurant's status as a beloved spot among the Madrid culinary landscape.
In conclusion, Tasca Celso y Manolo stands out as a beacon for anyone seeking authentic Spanish flavors with a modern flair. With friendly service, remarkable dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere, it is undoubtedly a place I can't wait to revisit. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this restaurant should be at the top of your list!
“ The food is incredible. Everything we had was delicious. I can’t wait to go back! It took a while to initially be greeted and asked what we wanted to drink and a while to be served our sangria but the food makes up for it. We were served a plate of fresh olives and then our 6 different food plates arrived throughout the next hour. We ordered dessert and while I wasn’t blown away by either of our choices, I still thought they were great. Food pictured - tomato steak, paella, monk fish, grilled tuna and the desserts of cheesecake and flan. ”
